I’m annoyed that Tumblr doesn’t seem able to pull any photos off of links form the share button. They definitely need to improve its automation. I’d like to be able to click the Share button, as in Facebook, and have it grab an abstract plus a photo. Facebook seems to do it by just nabbing all the pictures on the page and offering them up (with some exceptions I’m not sure about). It wold be nice if rather than a completely separate editing window for anything you wanted to add, it would expand a space in the layout so that one can really see how it’s going to look.
Other than that, this layout is much more demanding of the blogger’s commentary. All that empty space, I really feel like I’m supposed to be analyzing every link I drop. I’ll probably have to choose another that’s a little more ‘newsy’.
